i just ventured down memory lane and looked back over all my old posts...

and i realized, i've only posted my scrapiness like 4 times...
yikes!

well, i have some new pages and i plan to create more this weekend, so i guess i'll be posting some scrapiness soon!

to catch you up...

since i've been a bad blogger, let me fill you in on what i've been up to...

worked on the girls' room...{still haven't taken the "after" pics}
i mean, we had to do something about this!






we got a kitty! i happened to stop in the animal shelter one friday afternoon, and saw that they had two siamese cats...
i called jackson to see what he thought, and about 45 minutes later, i was on my way home with a cat-in-a-box

the girls named her sophie...
jackson and i "affectionately" refer to her as "Osama bin Kitty" since she spent the first 3 days in the 10 inches between our spare room ceiling and the living room floor.


took advantage of some of the great weather and took the girls to the park...

played around with my camera a few times...
{jackson's trying to convince me to take a photography class}














jackson and i spent a weekend in Columbus (thanks mom and Sarah!)...
{this will have its own post later}






and last weekend, we took the girls to Ohio caverns...(this will also have its own post)

got to work on some etsy stuff...
cleaned my craft room...just didn't actually get to use it.
spent a great sunday afternoon with friends and some yummy italian food...
and then came home and helped jackson cut out all the bushes in front of the house.
all in all - not what i planned, but not half bad.

i'm sleepy...

and i can't seem to find energy to do anything...
forgive the last post.

i do plan on taking pics of the girls' room...just haven't gotten to it yet.

i'm gonna be...

m.i.a. this weekend.

no need for a search party or a missing person's report.
i'll actually be in my basement.
all weekend.

i will just be unavailable. my family will have to pretend i've gone away or been committed or fallen through a crack in the earth. they'll just have to live without me for a few days.

i am in the "spring-is-coming-and-everything-needs-to-be-fresh-and-clean-and-organized" state of mind. and i need to start downstairs.

i need to purge and organize and clean so that i can finish projects that i started forever ago and start new ones that i probably won't get finished.

i may occasionally come up for air, and meals (since i don't think the pizza guy will deliver to my spare room), and maybe a round or 2 of rock band...but that's it!

ETA: well...life had it's own plans, and they didn't coincide with mine.
looks like i have to reschedule my disappearing act to NEXT weekend...ugh!

well..

she's into make-up and being a cheerleader.
she's totally independent...god forbid mommy try to help with the make-up application.
she loves anything artsy...especially if it includes using "zizzors" and cutting things into a trillion little pieces.
she's definitely got an attitude, but is the best snuggler when she wants to be.
and she still can't live without "pink".

she's growing up waaaay too fast...the other day i realized she's going to be 7 and i just lost it.
she's mature beyond her years and definitely oppinionated.
she has the most giving personality...even making me "ice cream" when there's none in the freezer.
she loves art and books and talking to her new friends on the phone.
and she sends me the best air kisses at bedtime.
