i know...finally!

here are some of my favorite pics from easter...
(there were a bunch, so i figured they needed their own post)

my aunt has two bunnies, and the girlies love to visit them when it's nice outside...

easter...

my aunt becky {aka "precious"} hosted easter this year...
it was a gorgeous day outside!
we had lots of yummy food, talked a lot and shared stories, and had an easter egg hunt for all the kiddos...

ohio caverns...

2 weekends ago, we hopped in the car and headed out to ohio caverns...











it was pretty interesting.
those formations are hundreds of thousands of years old...incredible!
oh, and jackson got hit in the chest by a flying bat...probably the highlight of the whole trip...heehee!

columbus...

jackson and i spent a weekend in columbus...
(big thanks to sarah and mom for watching the girlies)
i had a workshop on friday and i was able to convince jackson to come with me and make a weekend of it...
we had tons of fun!

we went to the funny bone and saw Heywood Banks {"yah toast!!"}...
spent the day at easton town center {anthropologie, pottery barn, and container store...yay!}...
saw "last house on the left" {it was "microwave-head fantastic" as the usher said}...we wanted to see something in IMAX, but the only thing showing was "monsters -vs- aliens" and we knew the girls would disown us if we saw it without them...
had an AMAZING dinner at mitchell's ocean club {$40 for JUST the steak....that's all i'm sayin'}...

i had so much fun just spending time with jackson, i didn't take pics of any of that stuff!

but, we went to the conservatory, and i made up for it...
they had their butterfly exhibit and some stunning glass sculptures by Dale Chihuly...














finally, we walked around german village...
{took these while playing with my camera settings}






no kiddos and time away with the hubby to do a little reconnecting...
a weekend well spent.

eggs...

you can't have easter without dyeing eggs...
{jaden was sure to remind me that we have had the dye "since christmas so it was about time we used it!"}

i just ventured down memory lane and looked back over all my old posts...

and i realized, i've only posted my scrapiness like 4 times...
yikes!

well, i have some new pages and i plan to create more this weekend, so i guess i'll be posting some scrapiness soon!

to catch you up...

since i've been a bad blogger, let me fill you in on what i've been up to...

worked on the girls' room...{still haven't taken the "after" pics}
i mean, we had to do something about this!






we got a kitty! i happened to stop in the animal shelter one friday afternoon, and saw that they had two siamese cats...
i called jackson to see what he thought, and about 45 minutes later, i was on my way home with a cat-in-a-box

the girls named her sophie...
jackson and i "affectionately" refer to her as "Osama bin Kitty" since she spent the first 3 days in the 10 inches between our spare room ceiling and the living room floor.


took advantage of some of the great weather and took the girls to the park...

played around with my camera a few times...
{jackson's trying to convince me to take a photography class}














jackson and i spent a weekend in Columbus (thanks mom and Sarah!)...
{this will have its own post later}






and last weekend, we took the girls to Ohio caverns...(this will also have its own post)
