after a dr's visit and a trip to medical imaging, we were told there are no fractures. woo-hoo!

it looks really painful, but monk's not complaining. and jaden's doing everything she canto keep things as normal as possible. lol!

my poor monkey...

jackson took the girls to the park yesterday.
ashlyn decided to go head first down the slide...and she shot off the end of it like a rocket.
landed face first in the dirt....blood everywhere!

poor thing looks like she went about 4 rounds with tyson {i'll post pics tomorrow}.
we have a dr's appt tomorrow at 10:45 where they will xray her to find out if she broke her nose.

was back in june, but i thought these pics were worth sharing...

my uncle jerry...

came into town on the 5th...exciting since we haven't seen him in over 5 years.
my mom hosted a cookout at her house...

mom pulled out some photos that belonged to my grandma and she and jerry began reminiscing...

our 4th...

we had a cookout at our house for the 4th...

the kids played and the adults talked,

played cards, and had some "beverages"...

then we headed to the vandalia rec center

for sparklers, glo sticks, and fireworks...

june 11: jackson & the girls visited sunwatch indian village...{if you look close, you can see monkey holding her nose. she was not a fan of the smell}

june 16: girls' night out at t.j. chump's
june 20: backyard campout for father's day

june 22-26: jaden at vacation bible school with kacy
june 25-27: garage sale
june 27: took the girls to see "up" and then a night out at bolt's

and somewhere in between, ashlyn cut her hair again, so both girls got short summer "do's"
